Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy

1. Digital Products Policy

BookVault sells digital products (e-books in PDF format). Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are generally considered final once the download link has been accessed. However, we understand that issues can arise, and we are committed to customer satisfaction.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if:

• The e-book file is corrupt, unreadable, or significantly different from its description
• You were charged multiple times for the same purchase due to a technical error
• The download link failed to work and our support team was unable to resolve the issue
• You purchased the wrong book and have not downloaded it

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued if:

• The e-book has been downloaded and the request is based on change of mind
• The refund request is made more than 7 days after purchase
• The e-book was purchased during a sale/promotion where refunds were explicitly excluded
• The customer's device does not support PDF files (this is not a product defect)

4. Cancellation

Since e-books are delivered digitally upon payment, there is no cancellation window after a successful transaction. If a payment is initiated but fails or remains pending, no charge will be applied to your account.

5. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

1. Email us at support@bookvault.in with your order ID, the reason for refund, and any relevant screenshots.
2. Our team will review your request within 2 business days.
3. If approved, the refund will be processed via the original payment method.

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 7–10 business days from the date of processing).

7. Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback with their bank. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension. We are happy to resolve any issues directly and promptly.
